Marco received his Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Campinas in 2019. Since 2018 he has been working on LETOC and completed his undergraduate research about the stereoelectronic effects of peroxides and disulfides, while he acted in partnership with other research groups in the study of organic reactions mechanisms.
In 2020 he began his Ph.D. focused on employing a powerful combination of kinetic isotope effects at natural abundance, in situ IR/NMR monitoring and electronic structure calculations to investigate the mechanisms of multi-component organic reactions.
