Julia Bezerra was born in Mogi das Cruzes (São Paulo) in 1996. She received her technical bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Campinas in 2018.
Her undergraduate research was in biocatalysts and synthesis of alpha-hydroxy ketones. Also studied organometallic catalysts for annulation reactions at Charles University (Prague – Czech Republic).
In January 2019 she began her master’s degree in computational chemistry at this group. Her research concerns about conformational calculations of fluorinated crown ethers.
Loves practicing outdoor physical activities, go dancing and drink with her friends. She is also a DJ in her free time.
