João Paulo M. Spadeto

João Paulo was born in Vitória (Espírito Santo) in 1998. He received his Bachelor’s degree in
Chemistry from the Federal Institute of Espírito Santo in 2019.
His undergraduate research was focused on the theoretical search for drugs that have a better interaction with protozoan DBL3x protein that causes the most severe cases of malaria. The techniques used were docking, molecular dynamics and comparative modeling.
In January 2020, he began his master’s degree in Physical Organic Chemistry in LETOC.
His current research focuses on the Fluorinase enzime.

Outside the lab, João’s main interests are to talk with friends, cycling and playing the guitar.
