The ESFC is a triennial academic conference on Fluorine chemistry founded in 1965. The conference is held in Europe, but traditionally it brings together the fluorine community from all over the world. The scientific programme of the Symposium covers all the areas of fluorine chemistry relevant to fundamental and applied research. The 19th ESFC will take place on Aug 25-31, 2019, and it will be held in Warsaw, Poland (The picture below is from the University of Warsaw, where the event will be held).
This year, Professor Rodrigo Cormanich will present his findings about the experimental and theoretical evidences of the role of hypercojugation in the helicity in perfluoroalkanes in an invited talk.
To our delight, this year three students from our group will also present their results: The results of Luís H. Simões and Lucas A. Zeoly, both PhD students, were accepeted as contributed talks and Júlia A. Bezerra, who is a Master’s student, will present her findings in a poster. Congratulations to all of you!
